Pursuing Excellence is a core value we share with this week's Blue Collar Hauler, Troy. Just like Troy we take pride in a job well done and knowing that our customers are satisfied.
Let's get on to Troy's story!
WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I’m Troy Hunt and live in Torrington, WY (relocating soon)
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
I’m currently a UPS driver. About a month off from going full-time with my company Apex Excavation.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
After extensive online research, and looking into future projections for construction/excavation, I decided to start my own company. Ultimately self-built and funded, with support from my family. My personal funds were used to get me started and launch my company.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WHAT YOU DO?
Superior customer service. I really enjoy completing a job and shaking hands with a happy customer. Surpassing client's expectations is my goal and their gratitude makes it all worthwhile.
HOW DOES YOUR MAXX-D TRAILER HELP YOU GET WORK DONE?
My DTX hauls my CAT 259D3 to and from job sites. Hauls gravel and lately mountains of snow!
WHAT MAXX-D DEALER DID YOU BUY FROM?
I purchased my trailer from Pinnacle Trailer Sales in Eaton CO. Very pleased with their service and glad they had a metallic grey one in stock
From Employee to Business Owner
One of our goals at MAXX-D is to equip men to provide for their families with dignity and honor for the glory of God. We get excited when we see men stepping up and using their gifts and talents to start their own businesses which serve their communities and support their families. While working as a delivery driver can be an honorable profession and service, there's something about being your own boss and having that flexible schedule that really enables a family man to lead and serve his family well while building a legacy that can be passed down. Troy, we're proud to be a part of your story and we're looking forward to watching your business grow as you serve your customers with excellence.
