Who are you and where are you from?
“My name is Carlos Criado and I’m originally from Bucaramanga, Colombia. A year ago I started this amazing journey of being an entrepreneur and created Flamingo Dumpster Rental in Pompano Beach, Florida.”
“This dream has only been possible thanks to the support of my wife, family, and friends. Flamingo Dumpster Rental is a family owned and operated business.”
What do you do for a living?
“I’m a dumpster rental business owner that owns and operates Flamingo Dumpster Rentals in Pompano Beach, FL, and we do dumpster rentals as well as junk removal.”
How did you get started?
I started through the suggestion of a friend of mine who also has and runs a dumpster rental business nearby in Orlando, FL (myboxdumpsterrental). He helped me a lot.
The primary resources that I used was bank loans and savings, although it was hard to find a bank or company that would finance me and help me make this dream a reality. Overall, it’s been a great learning experience.
The most challenging thing at the beginning was identifying the type of material and the size of the projects that the trailer can handle.
What’s your favorite part of what you do?
“When I drop the dumpster at the customer’s place and they are surprised and satisfied with how easy it was to drop off a dumpster right in his driveway.”
How does your roll-off dump trailer fleet help you get work done?

“I bought my setup from Ocala Trailers and Modern Muscle Cars LLC located in Ocala, FL. Michael Schullo was the agent that helped me to understand everything. His service was great, and I actually bought another roll-off dump trailer just a month ago from him.”
