CHRIS NIBLETT WITH NIBLETT LAND MANAGEMENT!
Chris gets paid to be an outdoorsman. We understand that diving into your own business venture full time can be intimidating, but he shows us that it’s worth the risk. Having the right community around us can really help you make it happen. Chris’ story also shows us the importance of having faith in God and investing in others. Let’s get to his story!
Who are you and where are you from?
“My name is Chris Niblett, and I’m from Lavaca, Arkansas.”
What do you do for a living?
“We have a Land Management company. We provide brush-hogging services, as well as land clearing services with dedicated forestry mulchers, and excavators. We also do stump removal, and wildlife food plots. We have a tractor side boom mower, and provide R.O.W. maintenance and clearing.”
How did you get started?
“From the time I was a young boy, I always loved large equipment. We started our business “Niblett Brush-Hogging & Land Management, LLC” back in 2016. During that time I also worked for a pipeline company. We had great help that allowed us to grow, but in August of 2021 I decided to leave the pipeline where I had been employed for right at 15 years. Being able to focus on our business 100% was a game changer for us.
Who helped us? Well, God is our source. The Bible says in Philippians 4:19 that “My God will supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”, and we’ve experienced this. We’ve seen tremendous growth that we are extremely thankful for.
One of the things we’ve done is build a network of people that we talk to through texts, messages, and phone calls from many miles away. This allows us to bounce ideas off each other, learn, and improve together.”
What’s your favorite part of what you do?
“My favorite part of what I do is being able to be outside. Whether it’s hot, cold, sunny, cloudy, or raining, I get to get up each day and get paid to be outside. Another thing I enjoy is the diversification of our business. We may brush-hog a 1 acre lot one day, and then be on a 100 acre pasture the next. We may be on a 4 mile R.O.W. clearing project for several weeks, then be ripping out stumps a few days later.”
How does your heavy duty dump trailer from MAXX-D help you get work done?
“Our MAXX-D DHX Super HD Dump is a phenomenal trailer. We have several other dealers nearby that sell different brands, but we wanted an extra heavy duty dump trailer to meet our needs. We traveled from Lavaca, AR to Tulsa, OK to purchase this specific trailer from Canady Trailers.
We often get compliments on how nice of a trailer it is; it’s evident just by looking at it that it is built different than the competition. This trailer allows us to say “yes” to more jobs and allows us to make greater profits. From hauling off stumps, to debris from wooded areas we mulch, we use this trailer a lot and it has been a great investment for our business.”
GETTING PAID TO BE AN OUTDOORSMAN!
Chris, you’re living the dream, man! Most of us haul stuff and do things outside as much as possible, so we’re right there with you. Thank you for showing us the importance of faith and building strong communities. We’re blessed to be part of what you are doing out there, and we’re cheering you on!
