Who are you and where are you from?
“I am what you call a ‘petrolhead’. My name is Angel Chavez, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. ”
What do you do for a living?
“Angelitowz is the name of my towing business, and saving toys is the game. Towing has been my absolute main stream of income since the beginning of my company in 2017.”
How did you get started?
“Great question! Just like everything else in our great and beautiful republic, race cars are the prime catalyst here. It’s a long story, but I am undeniably an adrenaline junkie and this passion was my main source of inspiration and resource. Where there’s a will there’s a way.
Often, I rush loading cars with the imagination of serving in a pit crew-I challenge myself to do it perfectly and fast. As a kid, I dreamed of racing, specifically drifting, and that’s what I did for the better part of my early 20’s. During that time, I also ran my own small trucking business.
In the early part of 2017, I sold my 26ft Bobtail and began towing. I wanted to spend more of my life around the things I loved, all while still providing for my family. Word-of-mouth is the backbone of my company. ”
What’s your favorite part of what you do?
“The best part of my job is witnessing the turning point in the lives of my customers as they build their careers and cars from the ground up. It’s really special to see the blood, sweat, and tears pay off, and I love building rapport with my people; the call back is always appreciated. ”
