DOS Land Clearing with Peter Boschman

Peter is right here in our neck of the woods and he's using his MAXX-D trailer to haul the equipment he uses to serve our friends and neighbors. We're proud of the work Peter is doing and we love seeing his bright red LDX on the highway!

Let's get on to Peter's story!

WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

My name is Peter Boschman and I am from Sumner, TX. I own DOS Land Clearing.

DOS Land Clearing Sumner, TX

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

I run a land clearing/mulching business.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?

Back when I worked as a welder for a corral panel company, my boss gave me the opportunity to rent one of his skid steers and mulchers. After two months, I ended up buying my own machine, and I’ve never regretted that decision since.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WHAT YOU DO?

What I really love about my job is getting to interact with customers and seeing the amazing results that come from a job well done.

HOW DOES YOUR MAXX-D TRAILER HELP YOU GET WORK DONE?

Without my MAXX-D LDX I wouldn’t be able to transport my equipment on a daily basis. I really love the hydraulic landing gear, I can raise the trailer off of my truck without breaking a sweat!

WHAT MAXX-D DEALER DID YOU BUY FROM?

I purchased my trailer from Haulstar Trailer Sales in Petty, TX. Peter Wall made the experience super easy and straightforward. No hablo cap cuh.

starting small

Peter, we love how you were able to start this business while working another job, and how supportive of your dreams your former boss was, even lending you his equipment! And we're grateful that of all the local trailer companies you could have supported you chose MAXX-D.

The trailer Peter uses to haul his land clearing equipment is the MAXX-D LDX Low Profile Tandem Dual Flatbed Tandem Gooseneck. Our customers in the agricultural industries love the LDX for hauling hay and heavy equipment like tractors, but it shines in any industry where a no-nonsense, low-profile flatbed trailer is needed.
