Today we’re sharing the special story of our Blue Collar Hauler Giveaway winner, Bryan Floyd. Across the country there are people like Bryan that are out there getting work done, getting dirty, and making things happen. They run businesses, work hard, and are making America a better place to live, one load at a time.

We’re want to share these ‘Blue Collar Hauler’ Stories with you all, in the hopes that you too will pick up the Blue Collar gauntlet and move stuff to make a living, or if you already do, that you will be encouraged to keep going and build something great out there.

You can make it happen, just like these Blue Collar Haulers featured here.

Who are you and where are you from?

“Hey, my name is Bryan Floyd and I’m from Chesterfield County, Virginia.”

What do you do?

“I am the founder and owner of a Roll-Off Dumpster Rental company, Dominion Dumpster Rentals Inc. that serves the Richmond, VA area.”

How did you get started?

“I started Dominion Dumpsters with full intention to resign from my job and become my own boss. My thoughts where, “What can I buy once but sell time and time again?” There where many thoughts that came to mind but the one that stood out the most was dumpster rentals. Smaller 15 and 20 yard dumpster rentals, not the big 30 yard dumpsters, was a market that was virtually untapped in our area. My wife Elizabeth Floyd pushed me to take the leap, purchase equipment, and get started.”

What’s your favorite part about what you do?

“The best part of my business is being able spend more time with my wife and daughter by taking them out to run dumpsters.”

How do your MAXX-D Trailers help you get your work done?
“I currently have two MAXX-D Roll-Off Dump Trailers: One is an ROX 14k bumper pull and the other is an RPX 16k Gooseneck. We use both of them on a daily basis running dumpsters around central VA.
Both units have proven to be very reliable. We have pulled some heavy dumpsters (some having as much as 7tons, or 14,000lbs) and these trailers continue to take the abuse.

Then we spray them off on Sunday and just like that they look like new again for the next week. Let me tell you, that Kawasaki Green will get all the attention clean or dirty. We are looking to buy more MAXX-D equipment by the end of the year as our customer base and the demand for our services continues to grow.”

Bryan, as Team MAXX-D, we’re super stoked to be part of what you are doing out there in Virginia! It’s stories like these that fire us up and keep us firing on all cylinders.

FROM STEEL TO CUSTOMER PROCESS

Recently we did a video shoot of our complete building and finishing process, following a dump trailer all the way to one of our Dealer’s lots. Big thanks to our Dealer, Canady Trailers for letting us shoot the ride up there and the putting together/sales process.

Our trailers are 100% Texas Made and we plan to keep it that way. We believe that building and selling trailers to hard working Americans is a way to make our country a better place.

Keep building something great out there guys!
