We want to make sure all customers have the best experience possible. Selling factory-direct would require additional inventory and people to service you. In the end, we would have the same operating costs as an independent dealer. This would result in little to no savings for you. Our specialty is manufacturing trailers. Our dealers’ specialty is selling trailers and servicing the customer. It wouldn’t be right for us to compete with our customers.
GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) and carrying capacity are related but not exactly the same thing when it comes to trailers.
  • - GVWR: This refers to the maximum weight that a trailer is rated to safely carry, including the weight of the trailer itself and its contents. It's the maximum weight that the trailer can handle without risking damage or safety issues. This weight includes the trailer, cargo, and passengers (if applicable). Exceeding the GVWR can result in mechanical failures, accidents, and legal issues.
  • - Carrying Capacity: This refers specifically to the maximum weight of cargo that a trailer can carry safely without exceeding its GVWR. It's essentially the difference between the GVWR and the weight of the empty trailer.
For example, if a trailer has a GVWR of 5,000 pounds and it weighs 2,000 pounds when empty, then its carrying capacity would be 3,000 pounds. You can load up to 3,000 pounds of cargo and passengers into the trailer without exceeding its GVWR.

The brakes on your trailer are self-adjusting. To adjust them, simply pull your trailer up to highway speeds (60-65 mph). With the brake controller gain set to 10, use only the trailer brakes to slow down to 20 mph. You may need to repeat this process twice for full adjustment.
