BLUE COLLAR HAULER FERNANDO ZEPEDA JR!
The people that move our country forward are the ones out there in the fray, working hard and getting dirty to build, fix, and grow the stuff we use in our everyday lives.
Fernando is one of those people. He started his Blue Collar Hauler journey after a twenty year career in horticulture, and decided to make the leap and go into business on his own. He owns and operates Junior’s Gardens Landscape LLC way up in Camano Island, WA.
We hope you are inspired by these stories to get out there and haul stuff for a living too. Let’s build something great, guys!
FERNANDO WITH JUNIOR’S GARDENS LANDSCAPE LLC
Who are you and where are you from?
“I’m Fernando Zepeda, and I’m from Camano Island, Washington.
What do you do for a living?
“I own and operate Junior’s Gardens Landscape, LLC, and we do landscaping, gardening, and horticulture.”
How did you get started?
“After working in the horticultural/agriculture industry for 20 years, I wanted a career change. So I made the jump and started my own little business! We have been in the game for 7 years now and it has been very profitable and definitely worth the effort. My family has been very supportive and helped me with taking the risk, so I have to say thanks to them!
I’ve learned a lot and gotten resources and support from local lawncare/equipment dealers. Instagram and YouTube have been a great way to learn as well!”
What’s your favorite part of what you do?
“I love what I do! Helping and educating our customers about their landscape is one of my favorite parts. Overall we are blessed to help our community!”
How does your trailer help you get work done?
“LOVE MY TRAILER! Push a button and voila!! I’ve owned a 7×12 MAXX-D Dump Trailer since 2017, and the trailer has saved me in time, effort, manual labor and shows overall excellence 🙌!”
MAKING THE LEAP
Fernando, we’re stoked to see that you made the leap and started your own business! The world needs more entrepreneurs like you, and we’re proud to be a part of what you’re doing out there. Keep serving your community and making Camano Island a great looking place to live.
